How is the hay delivered?
Once you have emailed through your order, been invoiced & paid, we let you know an approximate time of delivery for the set date.
For split loads, it takes us roughly 3 hours to load all of the orders & tarp the truck, we usually do this the day prior to delivery.
Please ensure low hanging tree branches have been trimmed back on your driveway.
An example of an unsuitable driveway.
When we arrive at your property, we will park as close as possible to where the hay needs to go (hopefully a decent sized hay shed) and unload the bales (throw them off) to you, where you can then stack them in your shed.
You should make sure you have organised physically fit people to stack the hay, as it quite the task if you are not used to such work.
For all large bale orders you need to ensure you have a tractor, fork lift or telehandler with hay forks & a capable driver to unload the hay bales.
**we try to avoid delivering hay in the rain, so will cancel deliveries if it is raining prior to departure**
